Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about designing and ordering your bespoke packaging with BPAK.
What is a PAK?
A PAK is BPAK’s bespoke packaging, made to order with your branding. Our range has two formats: Card PAKs, slim packs for cards such as SIM, gift, loyalty and payment cards, and Box PAKs, boxes for products, sets and gifts.
Browse all PAKs →What is the difference between a Card PAK and a Box PAK?
Card PAKs are flat or slim packs, from 1.5 mm deep, designed to hold and present a card, often with a booklet, security features or a custom diecut. Box PAKs are three-dimensional boxes, including lid-and-base, slide-out drawer, sleeve and one-piece styles, for products of every shape and size.
How do I design my packaging?
Choose a PAK, then open it in our 3D Design Studio. You can see your PAK in real time, choose its size, material and finishes, and apply your own or AI-generated artwork to every panel. When you are happy, save your design and submit an enquiry. Our design team can also create or refine your artwork for you.
About our design service →What is the minimum order quantity?
Box PAKs start from 1,000 units and Card PAKs from 2,000 units. We support both low and high volumes, so tell us your quantities in your enquiry and we will match the run to your needs.
How much will my packaging cost?
The 3D Design Studio shows an indicative price as you configure your PAK, based on its size, material, finishes and quantity. Submit an enquiry and our team will confirm your quote.
Which materials can I choose?
Most PAKs are available in C2S (coated on two sides), C1S (coated on one side) and Kraft board, in a range of weights. Eco-friendly, responsibly sourced boards are available to support your sustainability goals. The options for each PAK are listed on its product page.
Which finishes are available?
Finishes include foil blocking and holographic, matt, pearl and neon foiling, embossing, debossing and multi-layer embossing, braille embossing, plush, fluoro and glitter flocking, metallic and pearl inks, spot UV and raised varnish, and matt or gloss lamination. Availability varies by PAK.
Can I see a sample before production?
Yes. You can review your PAK digitally in the 3D Design Studio, and we provide digital proofs, physical samples and full manufacturing proofs so everything looks and performs as expected before your run.
How long does production take?
In many cases we can achieve around four-week production lead times from final sign-off. Timings depend on the PAK, finishes and quantity, and we confirm a schedule with clear milestones when you place your order.
Where is my packaging made?
We work with carefully selected, certified manufacturing partners across Asia, Europe and North America, matching each project to the right facility for its print method, materials and scale. Our team oversees quality checks at key stages.
Can you pack and deliver my products too?
Yes. We can source inserts and other components, then handle fulfilment, from card scanning, data-driven collation, labelling and RFID tagging to product packing and palletising. We can ship directly to your customers, into your distribution centres or to your chosen partners.
See our services →Can Card PAKs include security features?
Yes. Card PAKs can include security features, along with booklets or inserts, product fitments, barcode windows and custom diecuts, depending on the PAK.
Which brands do you work with?
We have delivered packaging for brands including Boost Mobile, Verizon, T-Mobile, Delta Air Lines, Von Maur and Amazon, across telecommunications, banking, retail, gifting, beauty, fashion, beverages and more.
